Hod HaSharon
Hod HaSharon (Hebrew: ??????????????????, lit. 'Splendor of the Sharon [region]') is a city in the Central District of Israel. The city is located approximately 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) east of the Mediterranean coastline, south of Kfar Saba, southeast of Ra'anana, and northeast of Ramat HaSharon. In 2022 Hod-HaSharon had a population of 65,614 and its citizens are nearly entirely Jewish. Hod HaSharon was officially formed and made a local council in 1964 by the merging of four moshavot: Magdiel, Ramatayim, Hadar, and Ramat Hadar. The land area of Hod HaSharon is 19.2 square kilometres (7.4 sq mi), and according to the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), in 2022 the city had a population of 65,614.
