The Macanese pataca or Macau pataca (traditional Chinese: ?????????; simplified Chinese: ?????????; Cantonese Yale: Oum??n y??hn; pinyin: A??m??n yu??n; Portuguese: Pataca de Macau; sign: MOP$; ISO code: MOP) is the currency of Macau. It is subdivided into 100 avos (???; sin), with 10 avos called ho (???) in Cantonese.
